E-Station Transit Oriented Development Network Growth Initiative

Meetings and Seminars Calendar

In order to support the Foundation's education and technical support objectives nationally, GASF plans specialty meetings, seminars, and workshops throughout the country that bring together station experts with persons and organizations seeking to promote station redevelopment and preservation. These events include the following:

  • Annual National Meeting with the location rotating among the four regions (Northeast, South, Midwest and the West Regional Seminars co-sponsored by an organization involved with station redevelopment or preservation in one to two of the regions annually)
  • Regional Meetings cosponsored with a regional group, state or group of states
  • Customized Station-Focused Meetings sponsored by a local organization with technical support from the Station Foundation to highlight a specific station preservation and/or redevelopment project

    New Mexico Historic Railroad Buildings Symposium

    Presentations on Depot restoration projects, e-commerce & Railroad Stations, Railroad buildings and cultural tourism. Field sessions include tours of Santa Fe Depot, Railroad District and Montezuma Hotel.
