    Smart Community NetworkSmart Growth creates communities in which people have increased choice, a higher quality of life.
    Surface Transportation Policy ProjectThe goal of STPP is to ensure that transportation policy and investments help conserve energy, protect environmental and aesthetic quality, strengthen the economy, promote social equity, and make communities more livable.
    Sustainable Development Challenge GrantsUnder this program, 123 projects were funded in communities across the United States. Each of these projects demonstrated an innovative solution to specific urban or rural environmental problems related to air and water quality, toxic substances, and/or solid waste management.
